OK, Let's face it: these two truffles are OUR favorites. We don't make the lemon truffles any more because we used to make too many truffle box assortments and we had to cut back. But every time we have some extra ganache and I say to Maresa, "Want to make whatever truffle you want to nibble on?" and we both know I'm hoping she'll make lemon truffles, and she wants lemon truffles, so she makes lemon truffles, and we're both happy. Because lemon truffles are like the platonic ideal of a chocolate truffle: rich, creamy, decadent, but with a tangy little zing to cut through all that richness. Pure heaven.
Similarly, our pomegranate truffle is not only our favorite, but yours too. Every few weeks we get an email from someone begging us to send them just a box of the pomegranate truffles, so I figured it was time to officially oblige.
