BULK TRUFFLES

Truffles are our most labor-intensive product—with a price to match! They are completely hand-made and need to be consumed within one week. For a less pricey but stil delicious option, see our selections of bulk ganache bonbons (basically square truffles!), molded chocolates, and caramels, below.

Truffles were invented by French housewives looking to use up scraps of ganache (who has scraps of ganache? French housewives!), who rolled them in cocoa powder. They resembled truffle mushrooms, and a star was born. We make our truffles the old-fashioned way, by flavoring ganache, piping it into rounds, then hand-rolling, dipping, and garnishing each truffle.
